SPIDER-SENSE PERMISSIONS.

Peter Parker has a spider-sense! It only works if someone approaches him with ill-intent, and that means it's something dangerous. If someone wants to playfully smack him up the side of the head, it won't go off. If someone wants to playfully shove him, it won't go off. If your character is a giant bag of dicks and just is a giant bag of dicks at everyone because they mean harm? It will go off, even if the individual is not, at that moment, doing harm. (For instance, when the Chameleon is in the room and doing sketchy things, Peter's sense goes off, even if he's not specifically causing Peter harm.)
Basically, I need to know if this is okay! A case by case scenario is fine. If you don't want Peter to know your villain is a giant bag of dicks, we can just avoid having them meet. Or we can handwave it. I'm cool. Peter isn't going to be able to tell someone is evil or means harm over the network. That doesn't make sense.
What I need from everyone is this form below filled out (without the form filled out, I will always always always default to no spider-sense tingling):
orrrrr another one, to opt out of threading with Peter entirely, so I don't tag you and make things awkward for your plans! Obviously, without the above filled out, I wouldn't do anything with it, but this is just to help expedite matters.
On case by case scenarios (like fights and stuff), I'll contact people, since "generally means harm" is different from "I am angry in this situation but otherwise not a means harm type." But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off? Jesse can't be sensed due to his weapon - but, I mean... It's kind of obvious from looking at him that he might be trouble.

Date: 2013-11-02 12:08 pm (UTC)Are they a morally dubious/ill-intent type of character? On occasion. He's not exactly a bad guy, but he will do morally dubious things if he thinks he needs to. Especially with those with magic.
Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off? YEP!

Are they a morally dubious/ill-intent type of character? Not at all!

Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off? If it ever makes sense for it to, yup!

Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off? Case-by-case might be best for Max. She's definitely a bad person, but it's motivated by The Greater Good (tm) and she generally isn't walking into a room meaning people harm. I'm alright with it going off if applicable, but it just might be best to discuss first if the situation does arise.

Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off? I would love for Peter's spider-sense to go off, even if I think it would be under a very specific set of circumstances.

Nope! But given war situation, and what she's participated in the name of the war back home and the war here, she has done morally dubious acts, or acts with ill-intent. You can't really rush a base and not be expecting to end up killing people or Hork-Bajir when you're disabling them so they can't kill you.
Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off?
Yes, as is case by case appropriate! Around here, she doesn't go on those kinds of benders or missions, but she has killed in game (a sniper shot her friend in the back twice, she hit him at speed as an eagle and they both went falling off the side of a building), and in situations that call for it she will again. (Hurting out Transports to her is stupid, when most the time they all need to work with each other, and there is usually resurrection tech that means you're solving nothing by killing anyone, no matter how much of a threat they are, or how many people they've killed or attempted to kill.)
SINCE WE'RE THREADING I FIGURED ID DO THIS

Wanting to be space emperor of the universe probably counts as morally dubious, though he sees it as merely fulfilling a prophecy/for the good of Cybertron.
Is it okay for Peter's spider-sense to go off?
Sure. It'd probably go off like fifteen miles away if he tries anything lmfao. He's not the sneaky type and it will probably be pretty clear if he wants to hurt someone.
